RO+EDI Ultrapure Water System
MINGMO’s ultrapure water system mainly adopts the treatment process of reverse osmosis system (RO) and EDI module, which can continuously and stably produce high-purity ultrapure water, making the water quality reach above 18.2 MΩ·cm, which can meet customers’ various water purity requirements.
Ultrapure water refers to water with a resistivity of up to 18.2 MΩ·cm (25°C). This type of water contains almost no ions and organic matter and is suitable for use in fields with extremely high requirements for water quality, such as semiconductor manufacturing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical production, and electronic component manufacturing.
Ultrapure Water System Details
MINGMO’s ultrapure water system combines two modules, reverse osmosis (RO) and EDI, and combines electrodialysis and ion exchange technology. Through the selective permeation of cation and anion membranes and the exchange of ion exchange resins, the directional migration of ions in water is achieved under the action of electric fields, thereby achieving the effect of deep water purification. MINGMO generally uses bipolar reverse osmosis and EDI processes, and the system capacity can also be customized, ranging from 0.25m3/hour to 100m3/hour.
MINGMO is quite strict about the materials used to produce ultrapure water equipment, usually high-quality stainless steel 304, 316, or 316L to ensure the safety of the water source. However, in the case of high salt content or TDS of the raw water (such as seawater desalination, brackish water desalination, etc.), to prevent material corrosion, we generally use glass-fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) or carbon steel as the first choice for pretreatment tanks.
In MINGMO’s ultrapure water system, the 8040 and 4040 membranes and high-pressure pumps used are all imported brands, such as DOW Filmtec, Toray, Vontron, Hydranautics, LG, etc. MINGMO’s ultrapure water equipment also has intelligent management functions, such as Siemens PLC program control and automatic adjustment technology, which can improve the utilization rate of raw water and reduce energy consumption.
Depending on your budget and needs, we can also add a UV sterilizer or ozone generator to your ultrapure water system.
